DocuMint AI Privacy Policy

DocuMint AI is a local-first document utility by Mehmet Sisoglu. This policy explains how the app handles information when you import, analyze, rename, search, export, or organize PDF documents.

Information We Process

DocuMint AI processes the documents you choose to add, including PDF file names, file paths, extracted text, detected invoice metadata, rename suggestions, watched folder permissions, app settings, and purchase entitlement status.

Local Processing

Document OCR, invoice parsing, rename suggestions, search, and folder automation are designed to run locally on your device. DocuMint AI does not operate a server for uploading, storing, selling, or analyzing your documents.

Files, Folders, and iCloud Drive

If you select a watched folder in iCloud Drive or another synced location, those files are stored and synced by the service you choose under your own account settings. You control which folders and files the app can access.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscription entitlements are processed by Apple through StoreKit. DocuMint AI receives entitlement status, but payment details are handled by Apple.

Tracking and Advertising

DocuMint AI does not track you across apps or websites and does not use advertising SDKs or data brokers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your documents or extracted document content with third parties, except where you intentionally export, share, sync, or store files using Apple system services or another destination you choose.

Retention and Deletion

Document records and settings remain on your device until you delete them, remove the app, clear the related files, or revoke folder access. Files exported to iCloud Drive or other locations should be deleted from those locations by you.

Children

DocuMint AI is not intended to collect personal information from children. The app is designed for personal and business document organization.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The updated version will include a new effective date.

DocuMint AI End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Mehmet Sisoglu ("Licensor") and governs your use of DocuMint AI ("App"). Apple is not a party to this Agreement.

License

Subject to this Agreement and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, Licensor grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control. The App may also be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing where permitted by Apple.

Permitted Use

You may use the App to import, analyze, rename, search, export, and organize documents for lawful personal or business purposes. You are responsible for the documents you process and for complying with laws that apply to those documents.

Restrictions

You may not reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, misuse, or use the App for unlawful activity. You may not attempt to bypass purchase entitlements, security controls, or platform restrictions.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Paid features may be offered through Apple in-app purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew until canceled in your App Store account settings. Lifetime purchases, where offered, are one-time unlocks for the paid features described in the App at the time of purchase, subject to this Agreement and App Store rules.

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by the DocuMint AI Privacy Policy on this page. The App is designed for local-first document processing, but files you choose to store in iCloud Drive or share elsewhere may be handled by the services you select.

No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. DocuMint AI may suggest filenames or extract invoice information, but you are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, files, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the App.

Maintenance and Support

Licensor is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.

Third-Party Claims

Licensor, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the App or your possession and use of the App, including product liability, legal compliance, and intellectual property claims, to the extent required by applicable law.

Legal Compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a United States government embargo and are not listed on any United States government prohibited or restricted party list.

Third-Party Beneficiary

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Termination

This Agreement remains effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement terminate automatically if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App.
