1. Privacy Policy (Local-First Commitment)
SKRY is designed with a "Local-First" philosophy. Your privacy is our core priority.
- Data Processing: All document indexing, OCR, and PDF analysis are performed locally on
your device. We do not store or transmit your documents to our servers.
- AI Connectivity: If you use Local AI (Ollama), no data leaves your device. If you use
Cloud Providers (Gemini/OpenAI), only the necessary text snippets are sent to those providers via their
secure APIs.
- Data Deletion: You have full control. You can wipe all indexed data and chat history at
any time through the application settings.
2. End User License Agreement (EULA)
By using SKRY, you agree to the following terms:
- License: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use SKRY on macOS devices
you own.
- AI Disclaimer: SKRY uses artificial intelligence to analyze documents. AI can
"hallucinate" or provide incorrect information. Users must verify any output before relying on it for
critical decisions.
- Prohibited Use: You may not use SKRY to process illegal content or violate the
intellectual property of others.
